In order to be signed by the Governor into law, the NJ Assembly must vote and pass these bills as well. Currently the Assembly has no official action to date regarding these bills. But make no mistake, we are under attack!

Local 11 Family Support (New) Volunteers are needed to provide transportation for family members to the hospital. During the family stay at the hospital, volunteers are required to remain on-site and assist the family until they are all ready to go back home.The family will need transportation twice a day. So to make it easier on the volunteers, transportation duties are broken into two shifts. Shifts are as followed:

Early Shift: 12:15 pm to 3:30 pm
Late Shift: 4:45 pm to 8 pm

Just Another Night in Bayonne Two calamities took place at virtually the same spot in Bayonne tonight, officials have confirmed. Two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle on Broadway between 27th and 28th streets and a fire that engulfed two buildings along the same stretch have displaced several families, officials have confirmed. Promotions 6 Members Promoted

On Friday, March 5th, 2010, Captains Peter McMonagle, Joseph Lanni, and Joseph Lyga were sworn in as Battalion Chiefs. Firefighters Eric Lebright, Kevin Fitzhenry, and Timothy Ballance were promoted to the rank of Captain. Congradulations to all.
